"This little studio, located on the 8th floor of a busy office building, is a pretty unexpected find in the heart of downtown Denver, but definitely a gem.
I came for a private session with some of my coworkers and loved how friendly and relaxed the atmosphere is. Yoga can sometimes be too serious, too intense, and instructors won't take the time to make sure you are comfortable with the poses, but this was definitely not the case here.
The instructor started by checking for injuries and would regularly check to see how positions were feeling, offering advice for those who were uncomfortable. She was very flexible with the class and adjusted based on our feedback. The atmosphere was also great and friendly chatting and laughter was encouraged rather than hushed.
The price was also amazing--we had about 13 people in our class and it ended up being under 100 dollars. Say what?? I'd love to start coming to this place on my own to enjoy the great instruction and serenity Yoga High offers." -Allison G.
"I have been coming here for over a year now, and it's the best! Amanda is amazing - such a sweet person and her classes are never boring! She even helped me develop a customized morning stretching routine. Tracy is newer, but I'm really enjoying her classes as well. She is very responsive to your specific needs. The location is super convenient if you live or work downtown and the studio itself is gorgeous. Quiet and bright with a mountain view from the 17th floor. "Wow. I have taken classes and mutli-week foundation courses at other studios, but making yoga a regular practice had never stuck, until I started training at Yoga High. My ongoing focus is to increase flexibility so I can be a better snowboarder. I spoke with Amanda about my goals, and she tailored unique and specific stretches that have vastly improved my flexibility, balance, and agility. Later, I learned that Amanda has even been featured on the cover of Yoga Journal twice; it's very nice to know that I'm working with someone who knows what they're doing and is highly respected within the industry.
Beyond major improvements in my athletic performance, I feel better in general; I don't get as tight while working long hours at my desk, and I have an easier time falling asleep.
